Objective: Design a series of store closing signage and create a social media campaign for Everything Elmwood’s farewell, honoring its rich history and expressing gratitude to the community.
Contributions:
Store Signage – Designed bold, heartfelt signs that conveyed excitement for the store’s legacy, ensuring a meaningful sendoff.
Visual Storytelling – Incorporated triangle imagery from the store’s first business card (43 years ago) and the signature teal color of the building, weaving historical design elements throughout the campaign.
Social Media Campaign – Crafted engaging graphics, captions, and promotions that shared the store’s history, highlighted customer memories, and announced the farewell sale.
Community Engagement – The campaign led to the busiest sales day in the store’s history, bringing together generations of customers to celebrate one last time.
Description: This project was a tribute to Everything Elmwood’s impact on Buffalo, blending design, nostalgia, and storytelling to give the store a well-deserved farewell. The signage and social media campaign successfully celebrated the store’s legacy while creating a lasting connection with the community.
